‘Prince’, a good boy. This is a simple design for a paper-cut silkscreen based on a Staffordshire Pottery flatback ceramic ornament.

This painting is part of a new series of prints featuring Staffordshire Pottery dogs. It was created using cut paper and simple silkscreen. Staffordshire flatbacks (or ‘Wally Dugs’ if you’re from the North East!) are a favourite of mine. I have a couple, but I would love a huge collection of them. I drew lots at the V&A Museum, where they have hundreds of them beautifully arranged in glass cabinets.

Printed by onto 300gsm card, which has been responsibly sourced. Each card comes with a white envelope, also made from sustainably produced stock, packed in a biodegradable cello bag. Blank inside for your own message.
